 Assessment
and Placement
Children
are placed in classrooms by developmental readiness rather than by chronological
age. Thus children are grouped in settings where they feel more comfortable.
A kindergarten readiness assessment is also given to each Pre-K child
during the spring. This assessment is not an IQ test.
It is only used to measure your child's maturation level. Parents
are encouraged to observe this assessment. At least one individual
conference is held during each school year, and at other times at
the request of the parents. |
