Planning Ahead Are you looking to join the church? Curious about what PBPC has to offer? Come to our new member’s class Sunday, July 20th from 1:30 to 3:30pm led by Rev. Alan W. Deuel in Knox Chapel. Child care will be provided. A new CD featuring original spiritual songs written by Geoff Willis and Barbara Beeler is now on sale in the church office. Geoff's vocals are backed by the instrumental talents of Esther Jordan, Steve Ritz, Scott Blaisdell and Larry Cox, recorded and produced by Barry Dickens. A limited number of CD's is now available at the church office for $5 each. All proceeds go to the Men's Ministry. Beach Boardwalk Ministry Tour--July Tuesday 22nd and Thursday 24th: Pick one day for a Beach and Boardwalk Patrol 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Come join the Set Free Ministry Team as they minister to and pray with people in need along the boardwalk from Belmont Park to Crystal Pier. The Mission Committees would like to express its thanks to all who contributed to the Blanket and Tools special offering on Mother’s Day. A total of $3,010 was received. Think of how this is helping the disaster victims in our country, as well as overseas. Please note the letter and certificate from Church World Services that is mounted on the bulletin board. God bless you all. CCSA needs your help!! 1200 cases of food are scheduled to arrive at CCSA on Wednesday July 16th at about 10:00 AM. The food comes from the FEMA food distribution for non-profits. It will be delivered to us by Second Harvest. They have a 23-foot truck so hopefully it will only take them one trip. The food will be delivered to our driveway up at the main CCSA office, 4167 Rappahannock Avenue. It will be on pallets, eight pallets in all, so that we can then move it back to the sheds where it will be stored. This is definitely a job for “strong backs”! Announcements Reminder: Vacation time is here!! However, the expenses for our church continue and never take a vacation. We would be most grateful if we could receive your pledge before you leave.
